AMAZING SNORKELING TRIP IN NUSA LEMBONGAN

The shorelines on Nusa Penida’s Manta Bay and Manta Point are dramatic limestone cliffs that have been etched away slowly by the sea.

The chances of seeing a manta here are VERY high.

Underwater this vertical rock face extends for meters below. Its waters are teeming with small pink, white and translucent harmless jellyfish propelling themselves every which way. This plankton filled cove happens to be prime feeding ground for Indonesia’s great manta rays and thus has become a major Balinese scuba diving destination.

True to its name, the water is lovely: clear and cold with great visibility and home to some healthy coral and colorful fish.

Crystal Bay aka Penida Bay is the best known dive site in Bali for catching a glimpse of the elusive Mola-Mola (Ocean sunfish) especially during the July to mid-November season.

The Mangrove Point Nusa Lembongan is also one of the famous snorkeling locations in Bali.

Mangrove point is located at the northern end of the Jungutbatu Village. The current conditions here are very light. Mangrove snorkeling is an easy drift snorkel- just simply floating passively while using snorkeling gear and allowing the light currents to carry you across the sea water and explore a colorful underwater.

The conditions of coral reefs are healthy and spacious with lots of tropical fish.
