How to get to Bali during Covid

It is now official, if you are a citizen from one of the countries below you are entitled to receive a Visa On Arrival (VOA) at Denpasar airport (DPS) without quarantine :

You will need :
– your passport with a minimum validity of 12 months
– show the booking of your flight out of Indonesia
– have a negative PCR test result (taken a maximum of 2×24 hours before the flight)
– full vaccination (with or without a booster)
– proof of paid reservation of 3 nights / 4 days minimum in an hotel certified CHSE (possible to do it directly at Isla Indah Retreat)
– proof of health insurance which includes covid and medical evacuation (with a minimum cover of 15.000 USD)
VOA costs 500.000 IDR and you can extend it for another 30 days at the Denpasar immigration.
The maximum duration of VOA is 60 days and you cannot convert or apply for a new visa inside Indonesia unless you leave the country and apply from outside Indonesia at an Indonesian embassy (Singapore is the closest).
GETTING YOUR BUSINESS VISA
If you cannot apply for a VOA you can still visit Indonesia.
First thing you will need to get a business visa B211 (the usual 30 days free-visa doesn’t apply anymore).
Getting this visa requires an Indonesian travel company sponsoring you so it’s not possible to do the registration yourself (we can recommend you to check with the visa agency Bali Visa Experts to take care of your paperwork). Count 15 days max to receive your business visa and a cost around 350 USD. Its initial validity is 60 days and it can be extended 4 times 30 days so it’s perfect for the digital nomad or someone who wants to take a long break.
Second you will need to book your plane ticket to land in Denpasar or Jakarta and also book your quarantine there for 3 nights in one of the health-ministry approved hotel (they do all-inclusive packages with food, transport and PCR tests, bubble hotel is also possible).
Third (before taking the plane) do your PCR test (48h validity is required to enter Indonesia) and print your documents.
Fourth once your quarantine is over you will need to do another PCR test then you will be able to join us in Nusa Lembongan !
