Monkey Activities operates monkeyactivities.com and takes enquiries and bookings for activities and retreats in Nusa Lembongan, Bali, Indonesia. For privacy questions or requests, email contact@monkeyactivities.com.
Information we collect and why

PayPal handles payment information entered on PayPal. If you pay by bank transfer, the banks involved process the transfer and we may receive the sender details or payment reference shown on the transaction. |

We use booking and enquiry details to respond to your request and provide the services you book. We also use relevant records for accounting, fraud prevention and handling disputes. Where consent is needed for a separate use, we ask for it and explain how to withdraw it.
Who may receive your information
Our staff and service providers use the information needed for their work. This includes website hosting and security, email delivery, booking administration and payment processing. Our contact mailbox is hosted by Namecheap and forwards enquiries to our Yahoo inbox. Online payments through PayPal and direct bank transfers are handled by the relevant payment providers or banks.
If you contact us through the Isla Indah reservations WhatsApp link, the message goes to the Isla Indah reservations number. WhatsApp handles the message through its own service.
We may share information where the law requires it or where it is needed to deal with a payment dispute or an incident. Some providers may process information outside Indonesia.
Cookies and embedded services
The site uses cookies or similar technology for functions such as keeping items in your cart. We use Google Analytics to understand site use, Google reCAPTCHA to protect forms from spam and Google Maps to display our location. These services can receive browser or device information when they load. You can manage cookies in your browser. Blocking necessary cookies can affect the cart and checkout.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiries that do not become bookings for up to 12 months after the last contact. We keep routine booking and trip coordination records for up to 24 months after your scheduled activity or the end of your retreat.
We keep accounting and tax records for the period required by law. We may also need to keep relevant records longer to handle an open dispute, a safety incident or another legal obligation. Once we no longer need the information, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.
Your privacy choices and rights
You can email contact@monkeyactivities.com to ask what personal data we hold about you, request a copy or correction, or ask us to delete it or limit how we use it, where those rights apply. You can also withdraw consent for uses that rely on it. We may need to verify your identity before providing or changing information, and some records may need to be kept to meet legal requirements.
